Managing multiple networks
You can be connected to several networks at once. Each network has its own server window, channels, private messages and nickname.
The sidebar and tabs
Section titled “The sidebar and tabs”The left-hand tree lists each network with its channels and private conversations beneath it. Selecting a tree entry shows that conversation.
The toolbar and message box act on the active conversation’s network. Typed commands go to the network you are looking at.
Adding networks
Section titled “Adding networks”Use Servers → Add server… for each network. For a ZNC bouncer see the ZNC Manager pages.
Commands for one or all networks
Section titled “Commands for one or all networks”| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/connect [network] |
Connect the current or named network |
/disconnect [reason] |
Disconnect the current network |
/quit [reason] |
Disconnect every network |
/server <host> [port] [-insecure] |
Add a profile for the host and connect |
When you are not connected
Section titled “When you are not connected”A command that needs a connection tells you, in the window you typed it in, that the network is not connected. Connect first, then repeat the command.
Unread and mentions
Section titled “Unread and mentions”The tree shows an unread count for each conversation, highlighted when you were mentioned. The taskbar button shows the number of unread mentions and private messages.
