Starting with scripts disabled
If a script causes trouble, start SwizzinIRC with every script off.
Either:
- start the program with the
--no-scriptsoption, for exampleSwizzinIRC.exe --no-scripts, or - set the environment variable
SWIZZIN_NO_SCRIPTS=1before starting.
All scripts are off for that session whatever the saved settings say. You can still open the Script Manager, and edit and save scripts. Turning a script on shows a message that scripts are switched off for this run.
Other ways to switch scripts off
Section titled “Other ways to switch scripts off”- Turn every script off in the Script Manager.
- Delete or rename the
Scriptsfolder in your data folder.
Damaged script settings
Section titled “Damaged script settings”If scripts.json is corrupt, SwizzinIRC moves it aside as scripts.json.corrupt and starts with no scripts enabled.
