ZNC issues
The ZNC Manager is not available
Section titled “The ZNC Manager is not available”The Servers menu shows the reason. It is one of:
- the server did not advertise ZNC capabilities,
- the profile has no ZNC login,
- the profile is not connected.
Edit the profile: in the ZNC bouncer section tick This server is a ZNC bouncer, enter your ZNC user name, and keep only the password in the password field.
Sign-in problems
Section titled “Sign-in problems”“Could not sign in to ZNC for management” means one of:
- the password is wrong,
- the certificate is not trusted (give the profile a CA file for a private ZNC; certificate checking is never skipped),
- ZNC applied a login limit.
The message includes the connection problem.
ZNC refused the login the first time
Section titled “ZNC refused the login the first time”When you add a network through Add network → Through a ZNC bouncer, a refused login is explained in the dialog: it states what was sent and what to check. The address is your ZNC’s, the user name is your ZNC account, and the password is your ZNC password.
Other messages
Section titled “Other messages”See the table in ZNC Manager: credentials and troubleshooting for controlpanel not loaded, “ZNC denied this”, the network limit, and uncertain steps.
Repeated playback
Section titled “Repeated playback”Playback that repeats is shown once, and messages from your other clients appear as yours.
